To apply for a Colombian visa, you must do so online at the following link: https://tramitesmre.cancilleria.gov.co/tramites/enlinea/solicitarVisa.xhtml
Once you have paid for the study of your Colombian visa application, you will receive an answer from the visa office within 5 business days. In the event that additional documentation or an interview is required, the term may be extended up to 30 calendar days from the online visa application registration date.
Once your visa has been approved an paid the correspondent approved visa fee, an email will be sent to email address registered on the application.
The visa stamping can be done at the Consulate of Colombia where you filed your application or at the Office in Bogotá at Avenida 19 No. 98-03, Edifice Torre 100.
Approved: You have fulfilled all the requirements to be the holder of the visa for which you applied; you can make the payment of your visa and it will be sent to your email.
Required: The Visa Internal Work Group Office requests that you file documentation lacking in your application or additional information.
Inadmissible: Your visa application has not included all the required documents as provided by law. Inadmissibility by the Colombian Government is also discretionary. However, you may apply again.
You can only conduct one Colombian visa application process, bearing in mind that the foreigner can only hold a single type of Colombian visa.
The passport or travel document only needs to be valid at the time of issuance of the visa.
Any document submitted in an application for a Colombian visa, and issued by foreign authorities or entities, must be apostilled or legalized correspondingly and translated.

You can carry out work activities with the following types of visa and fulfilling the following profiles.
Migrant Visa: foreigners who reside in Colombia in a home comprising a Colombian national; under the Mercosur Temporary Residence Agreement; and with a refugee status will be authorized to carry out any legal activity in the country, including those with an employment contract.
When you have a contract of indefinite duration or for a fixed period, not less than one year and which in turn has the possibility of renewal for equal periods.
