Description: A foreigner interested in practicing his/her profession or developing professional activities independently in the national territory can apply.

The M type visa will be valid for 3 years.

Specific Requirements

1. Application letter.
2. At least 3 certificates of experience in the corresponding profession or occupation.
3. Personal bank statements of the six (6) months prior to the application. Applicant must credit average income of at least ten (10) legal monthly minimum wages in force.

Note: For regulated professions, applicant must provide the corresponding permit, license or provisional authorization to perform the respective profession in Colombia, granted by the competent authority.

In the case of practicing a non-regulated profession, a duly validated professional title validated by the Ministry of Education must be submitted.
